The
Chicago Chess Contingent is a private "club".
To become a member of the Chicago Chess Contingent you must meet at least 1 of the following 3 criteria:
1) Live within a
100 mile radius of the city of
Chicago.*
2) Be a diehard fan of the
Chicago Bears football team.**
3) Be an off-line friend of the team captain …and
grovel a little.***
* Any and all Green Bay Packer fans who live within the 100 miles radius need not apply. And in light of recent events that goes for Detroit Lions fans too.
**In order to verify your loyalty to the Chicago Bears you will be administered a test containing true or false, multiple choice, and essay questions. This is also necessary in order to identify any Green Bay fans attempting to infiltrate our "club".
***I’m serious. I don’t care if we’re really friends. Send me a PM that contains some groveling or move to Chicago.
In the spirit of the city of Chicago, upper management is currently considering allowing die hard fans of
Blues Music to join the team. Even though this is yet to be determined, I will entertain enquires from all Blues fans and make decisions on a case by case basis.
