White starts with 36 pawns (The Pawns), Black starts with the standard array (The Pieces).
The movement of pieces are the same as in Standard Chess, with the exception that a pawn on the first rank may move two squares.
White wins by conventionally mating the black king, Black wins by capturing all White's pawns (including promoted pawns).
