Upside Down Chess

Whites pawns are on the seventh (!) or opposing rank, with pieces in FRONT of them in the 8th rank. On the other side blacks pawns are in rank 2 and pieces in rank 1. So you must first move a knight in order to advance a pawn one move forward, to promote it to whatever you wish.

Watch out for smothered mate traps with knights! Openings can otherwise be a bit clumsy but Queens are also easy to come by and don't forget which direction pawns are moving and capturing! Castling is not permitted. Play to checkmate.
