Don't ask how I let that happen. Worked all day and am now caught up.. Off to bed. Today's server chess is a combination of PPC and GHA. PPC = ping pong chess, the act of replying immediately upon receipt of your opponent's move. Commonly used in the opening. GHA = GroundHog Day Attack. The art of working all day on your moves, going to bed, waking up and doing it all over again like Bill Murray in the movie. This attack is prevelant after the opening is done. Where are those postcards? There's a lot to be said for the old way to play CC. :) } 14... Nf8 { dmichael: Except for the postage :-) You stimulated me to pull out my old post-a-logs and take a look at them, and my old handwritten game records. } 15. f4 { Glen: I'm seriously considering going back to postal chess, postage aside :) I miss the chance to take an evening off. Impossible with the server unless you keep your game load below 10. Curiously I don't have any of my handwritten postal scores. I converted everything electronically. I have about 1000 completed games in my database. My goal was to complete 1000. Time to quit or revise my goal! } 15... O-O-O { dmichael: I try to play the 'standard' time limits. Too many at a 'fast' level, and I can't keep up and I make silly mistakes. } 16. Qe2 h6 17. Nf3 Bxf4 18. e5 Bxf3 19. Qxf3 Bxe5 20. Qa8+ Kd7 21. Qxa6 Bxh2+ 22. Kh1 b4 23. Nb5 Qe5 24. Ba4 Ke7 25.
