Nc3 Bb4 4. Ne2 dxe4 5. a3 Be7 6. g4 c5 { Euchesski: your g4 threw me a bit as not in my old chess book but thankfully i have up todate NCO, interesting move! } 7. Nxe4 { Nickskii: Yes g4 is an idea of Jonny Hector that he does well with. 6... e5 is main move I think, although very few games. } 7... cxd4 8. Qxd4 Qxd4 9. Nxd4 a6 10. Bg2 e5 11. Nf5 Bxf5 12. gxf5 Nc6 13. Be3 Rd8 14. O-O Nf6 15. Nxf6+ Bxf6 16. Rad1 g6 17. fxg6 hxg6 18. Bb6 { Nickskii: Really like my position here. } 18... Rxd1 { Euchesski: Yes advantage for white!! (Maybe i can find some tactics in this ending to keep things going!?)I think here after the exchange of rooks i have to continue with 19..Be7 } 19. Rxd1 Be7 20. Bc7 f6 21. Rd3 Rh4 22. Rb3 Nd8 23. Bb6 { Nickskii: Tricky, I need to avoid drawn endings, but sometime I will need to bite the bullet. } 23... e4 { Euchesski: Yeh i had hoped you would capture my Knight on d8 and then my Pawn on b7 spent some hours on that line, and what happens Nick plays Bb6!? } 24. f3 { Nickskii: This is how the grandmasters play. The bishop pair gives me a small advantage, but I should only force things when the time is right. Although the time may never be right. } 24... exf3 { Euchesski: Hopefully it wont and i can scrape a draw!!? } 25. Bxf3 f5 26. Kg2 { Euchesski: I just won as black v docjan a chigorin def nice stitch up on the kingside take a look! } 26... Bf6 27. c3 { Nickskii: That was a good win! Great attack on the k-side. } { Euchesski: Thanks Nick! } 27... Be5 28. h3 Ne6 { Euchesski: This is going to take bit uv time to work out!!? } 29. Bxb7 { Nickskii: Yes very tricky! I play the brave move rather than Be3 which looks drawish after b5. I think my two bishops will help my defence, but perpetual check is quite likely I guess. } 29... Nf4+ 30. Kf1 Rxh3 31. Bxa6 Rh1+ 32. Kf2 Rh2+ { Euchesski: Nick i played in the summer ko against Winsor Peck, i played a kings indian attack against his french, poor winsor had not got a clue what was going on poor fellor, i was fourty minutes up after 14 moves!!? match was against Telford drawn two all but we lost on board count! } 33. Ke1 { Nickskii: Yes, Windsor can get flustered when he meets something he doesn't know. } 33... Rh1+= 34. Kd2 Rh2+ 35. Kd1 Rh1+ 36. Kc2 { Nickskii: Soon will have my king on the safe h2!! } { Nickskii: I mean safe a2!! } { Euchesski: I just won my second game against docjan a Ruylopez Exchange, took some good endgame play in that game to force a victory well pleased!! In this game yes i spotted what you were after with walking your king over to a2 however i have a few tricks left yet!!? } 36... Kd7 37. Rb5 { Nickskii: Yes I spotted your second win, well daone. I am expecting a win and a draw against docjan. } 37... Bd6 38. a4 { Nickskii: Gonna be hard to stop my a-pawn. } { Euchesski: yes was always a problem, i need one of my swindles like our last ending!!? } 38... Rh2+ 39. Kb3 Ne6 40. Bb7 Nc7 41. Bxc7 Kxc7 42. Bd5 Bf4 43. a5 { Euchesski: I think there is an eventual winning prospect for white but the position requires some suttle play as the position is not quite as simple as seems its an interesting position though!? } 43... Be3 44. a6 { Nickskii: Only two more squares to go! Plan is simply c4,c5,a7, a8 } 44... Kd6 45. c4 f4 46. Be4 Ba7 47. Rg5 Rh3+ 48. Kb4 { Euchesski: Hopefully i have done enough in the tournament even when i eventually lose here as i should obtain a win in my final game against BlackRussian and hve reasonable drawing chances against Ostenrechess should give me Six and half points! } 48... f3 49. Rxg6+ { Nickskii: Ostenrechess is playing 218 games at once! No wonder he is playing slowly. } { Euchesski: bloody hell 218 games? thats too many i never play more than one mini tournament on schemingmind due to my games i have on ICCF have Ten on there so fifteen is plenty!!? } 49... Ke5 50. Bxf3 { Nickskii: My three pawns look pretty good. } { Euchesski: Yes they do look good enough, to stand a chance i would need to return the piece for two pawns that looks tough so a few more moves and call it a day! } 50... Rxf3 51. c5 Rf2 52. b3 Rf7 53. Kb5 { Euchesski: I think over the board here with the old ticker i may have resigned however this is a postal tournament and i have seen one variation if followed which would give me drawing chances so for this reason i will play out for a while!!? } 53... Rh7 54. Rb6 { Nickskii: This looks good plan. My game against Docjan is Q+B vs R+R with no pawns!Never seen such an ending before. } { Euchesski: I had a good look at it, Queen v Loan Rook is tough enough however he has two rooks and unless you can get him in a position and force him to give up one of those rooks for your bishop i cannot see how you can win Nick!? } 54... Rh8 { Euchesski: I had hoped you would have pushed your pawn to c6 which i felt would give me drawing chances .... i knew Rb6 was the winner will resign soon! } 55. Rb7 Bb8 56. a7 { Euchesski: its time well played! } 1-0
