I'm back in the hospital and this is the first available time I was able to get on the internet. Don't know if I'll be able to play regularly and it's very possible I might time-out in all games. } 3. e5 { Aumonde: Sorry, folks. While in the hospital, I'll need more time to prevent game timeouts. } 3... Nd5 4. d4 cxd4 { Number34: I have been trying to get this variation, with its fine points better understood. The current position looks like a Morra Gambit without the gambit! Instead of sacrificing a pawn to facilitate your development, its an exchange with you having an advantage in control in the center. Thats how it looks to me anyway. In the Informant opening monograph for B22 Sveshnikov gives this line with 2...Nf6 the end result, "Unclear". So we'll see where this goes. I was tempted to stay in the main line with 2...d5 but I thought your experience with this line would tilt in your favor. This current position, although a bit complex may offer me better chances.
